Estee Torok’s research focuses on the clinical applications of rapid microbial whole genome sequencing, including investigation of outbreaks of infection, and rapid diagnosis of multi-drug resistant organisms. She is also interested global surveillance of antimicrobial resistance. She currently works at the University of Cambridge and Addenbrooke’s hospital, but previously spent 4 years at the Oxford University Clinical Research Unit in Vietnam.
